"England, you know I love ya, but-", America leaned forward to remove the newly lit cigarette that stuck out from England's mouth, "- we're in a restaurant and it strictly says no smoking."
He put out the burning tip with his fingers, earning a glare from England in return.
"'Sides, it tastes gross", he finished, pouting as England grabbed the stump from his hand and lit it once again, inhaling and relaxing. America moved his head to the side to avoid the smoke as he blew it towards him.
"It won't hurt you", England said simply, inhaling another blow, closing his eyes, humming an old tune America could've sworn he'd heard before.
"I don't care", America said irritably and grabbed the cigarette and put it out once again and held it out of reach as England jumped from his chair to grab it once again, "but it hurts other people."
"There's no one nearby", England replied simply as he grudgingly sat down in his chair again, gulping nervously as America leaned towards him, looking straight into his eyes.
"... What?" England asked after a while, squirming uncomfortably, trying to push America away.
"You reek of smoke", America said bluntly.
England blinked. That was it?
"Well, you smell like that disgusting burger you just had for dinner", he replied sarcastically, turning his head to the side, trying to will his oncoming blush away, because maybe, just maybe had he hoped America would say something else.
America chuckled slightly and grabbed England's chin and turned his head to face him again.
"Fair enough", he said, grinning widely before closing the distance between them.

random usuk drabble from sometime last year. very far back last year too, can't remember exact month and I don't give a crap because I hate it anyway.
I hate smoking at public places, especially restaurants, even if it's forbidden in most countries, I believe. so this pain came to me while I experienced such an event of someone smoking at a public place and just making my asthmatic problems ten times worse. : D
But hey, what do I know?
